5 Easy Ways to Upgrade Your Outfit
With fashion being a hot topic right now, I’ve been feeling bored with my wardrobe. Constantly looking for ways to elevate the clothes I already have, so I don’t have to break the bank with micro trends. I’ve found 5 ways that will instantly upgrade any outfit into something that’s eye catching.
Simple changes can make all the difference!
It’s easy to get tired of wearing the same pieces over and over again. Luckily, it only takes a minimal amount of effort to look like you’ve thought about your outfit all week. Upgrading your everyday outfits doesn’t have to be hard or overly complicated. In today’s post we will be going over 5 easy ways to upgrade your outfits. When I am putting an outfit together I have these tips in mind to create an elevated look. They never fail to create an outfit that I become proud of.
1. Jewelry
This one may be obvious, but adding earrings, rings, bracelets, and a necklace can upgrade a boring outfit look. Chose if gold or silver jewelry works best for your style and preference. Having one necklace that you wear all the time can be an easy way to look chic and have a personal touch to every outfit.
2. Wearing Pieces that make you Happy
Cliche or not, wearing clothing that genuinely brings you joy will ultimately upgrade how you feel about your style. The next time you go through your closet or go shopping, take notice of how your body feels around that item. The print, fabric, fit, whatever it may be should bring you excitement and happiness to own it.
3. Fancy Top, Casual Bottoms, Vice Versa
One of my favorite methods for an outfit that will look good every time is making your top or bottoms be the statement piece. This applies to shapes too, flowy and tight, frilly and relaxed, whatever it may be. This method will make your outfit look like you put tons of effort into it.
4. Shoes
Shoes can make all the difference to an outfit, they can tone up an outfit or make it more casual. Colored or patterned shoes will instantly add more depth into a look. Choosing your pink sneakers you never wear over the white ones you wear everyday will upgrade your outfit.
5. Patterns
This one may sound intimidating, but patterns can be really easy to incorporate into basic outfits. The easiest way being having patterned bottoms and a plain tee or a top with pattern and jeans or a black skirt.
